Meet Steven Smathers
Steven Smathers is a graduate of Ohio StateSchool of Law and has been an adjunct professor teaching corporate finance and acquisitions at SMU Law for 25 years. He has worked at law firms in Dallas and Philadelphia–specializing in acquisitions, mergers, restructurings and reorganizations. He served as a Managing Director of a private equity firm for 30 years, and is a member of the Board of Directors of numerous private companies and one publicly traded company–American Integrity Insurance Group, Inc. He has led innumerable corporate restructurings, acquisitions, and financings, and has assisted many companies in the reordering of their corporate priorities.
